Palladium Society
This was awarded to Robert L. Mendenhall in November of 2006 to recognize his membership in the Palladium Society at UNLV.
"The sculpture's three intertwined hands symbolize the relationship between the community and the University as both reach upward to support intellect and wisdom."

Highway Project of the Year
This was awarded to Las Vegas Paving in 2006 by the Nevada Contractors Assoc. for the Heavy / Civil Highway Project of the Year. The NCA judges this prestigious award based upon completed jobs by licensed contractors in the state.

Technology Hall of Fame
This was presented to Robert L. Mendenhall in 2006 for his embrace and recognition of technology's importance in advancing the industry, as well as his contributions to the field. It was presented by Technology Business Alliance of Nevada.

Honorary Doctorate of Laws
This honorary doctorate was awarded to Las Vegas Paving's CEO Robert L. Mendenhall in 2006 by UNLV.

Contractor of the Year
This was awarded to us in 2005 by the NCA for overall contractor of the year in Nevada. The NCA judges this prestigious award based upon all completed jobs by licensed contractors in the state.

Clark County Youth Service Award
In 2005, Clark County awarded Las Vegas Paving with an award given for serving the youth in our community. This was done through the Summer Business Institute program, in collaboration with local & state colleges, the Clark County School District, and various other organizations.

Top 300 Highway Contractors
This was an honor given to us in the November 2004 issue of Transportation Builder. We were among the Top 300 Federal Highway Contractors in the United States.

This was awarded to Las Vegas Paving in 2002 by the Nevada Contractors Assoc. for the Heavy / Civil Highway Project of the Year. The NCA judges this prestigious award based upon completed jobs by licensed contractors in the state.

City of Las Vegas Contractor of the Year
Awarded by the City of Las Vegas, this was also for the I-15 Freeway Channel project in 2002. Of note, it mentions the difficult task of installing 160+ inlets in some of the Las Vegas valley's most traffic restrictive areas, in addition to the size of the project itself. It also recognizes December 3, 2002 as 'Las Vegas Paving Day' in the city of Las Vegas.

Civil Project of the Year
This was awarded to Las Vegas Paving by Clark County, It was awarded for our 2-year, $36 million contract for the I-15 Freeway Channel Project in 2002. The completed channel is able to divert more than two million gallons of water per minute.

Small Business Person of the Year
This was awarded to our CEO in 1977 for being chosen as the Small Business Person of the year, with only a single winner awarded nation-wide. It was awarded by the United States Small Business Administration.
